This Friday, May 1st, we are celebrating another Sauvie Star milestone. The students have earned 15,500 stars! We are so proud of our students. Students get ready for Fun Friday 🤩

Lots happening in the garden. The next few weeks will see prepping and planting. Students will sow some of the seeds they saved in the fall as well as starts that have been nourished in the greenhouse.
Here is to muddy hands, sunny smiles, and learning that blooms far beyond the garden.

It was a fun (and messy) day building the beginning parts of our model BMX tracks. Groups worked to create a solid base using a mixture of soil, clay, sand, and water before adding features of a track on top.

4th grade had a great outing to Topaz Farms Monday! While there, the students learned about local history, learned a pioneer dance, and cooked burgers on a can similar to how the pioneers would have!
