Big thanks to Cuauhtemoc from Ground Culture who came out to teach us about soil health and growing mushrooms! He supplied all the materials we needed and the kids set up a mushroom bed that will supply us with Shiitake and Oyster mushrooms.
We’re excited to watch these mushrooms grow and do some cooking projects with them!
WOW, our students have hit the 12,500 Sauvie Star mark! To celebrate, we will be having Monochrome Day on April 8th. Wear your favorite color from head to toe.
There is something special happening here 😊 It is the way our students show up for each other and the laughter echoing through the classrooms. It is the hands in the soil of our garden, the curiosity in our lab, and the confidence that grows a little more each day.
