We are still in need of items for the SIS staff back to school breakfast on Tuesday, August 29th at 7:30 a.m. We need more main items such as quiche, pastries, fruit and salad (or equivalent items). Items can be brought the day prior or by 7:30 a.m. on the 29th. Please email Kim or Kelli at volunteers@sauvieislandschool.org if you have any questions or concerns.

Field Day 2023



Sauvie Island School and Scappoose School District are recruiting substitute teachers for the upcoming school year. Support children and enjoy a flexible schedule!


4th grade harvesting and trying lettuce they grew. Most were willing to try the kale and a brave few went for the spicy arugula. These students were supported by the 7th grade gardening elective.

2nd grade scootertown happened Wednesday. Scootertown is one of the storyline units allowing students creative and problem solving opportunities.
