Scappoose youth basketball is happy to announce the '23-'24 season registration is open.
K-2nd Grade Clinics are Saturday mornings. Times will be based on the number of registered players. Cost this year is $45 and you receive a Scappoose Basketball t-shirt with registration.
Recreational Basketball - 3rd - 6th grade will have two practices per week and games on Saturday between Scappoose & St. Helens. Cost this year is $75 plus $25 if you need a new jersey.
Travel Basketball - Tryout registration is open to 5th grade - 8th grade boys' and girls' teams. You must register for tryouts before you can tryout. You must be a Scappoose student or live within SSD to register. Cost of travel basketball is $200 plus $45 for a jersey if you don't already have one. More information will be announced after registration. Tryout date in November and exact date and time will be released to registered players.

Sauvie Star Celebration! Our students have already reached 2,000 collective Sauvie Stars and we are celebrating by holding a Monochrome Day! Students are encouraged to wear one color head to toe on Thursday, October 12th.

Ms. JoJo using beanbags with our kinders as “pancakes” to practice balance and gross motor skills. They held the beanbags under their chin, on their chicken wing arm, and on their foreheads!

Ms. Horn's 6th Grade science class had the opportunity to work our local Oregon Fish and Wildlife Office last week to release tagged ducks into the island wetland. Even our fabulous bus driver Doug got to send off a duck!
