Scappoose High school is hosting a CTE community night this evening (Wednesday the 11th) at 5 pm - 7 pm in S Hall. This is a great opportunity to tour the technical labs and meet the teachers at Scappoose High School. Families are welcome to attend.

Thanks to Red Apple market for the donation of Thanksgiving dinners for our community.

Many thanks to the SIS staff, partners and families who came out to our habitat work party on Saturday. Big thanks to our garden educator Susan and volunteer landscapers Claudia and Brian for all the planning and organization. Volunteers added compost to all areas, mycelium (mushroom support) to all new plants, grit to plants that need better drainage.

Reminder: Parent/ Teacher conferences are Monday 11/25 and Tuesday 11/26. There is no school from 11/25-11/29. Have a wonderful and safe holiday.

Thank you to all of our students, families, and community members. With your help, Sauvie Island School collected 525 lbs of canned food and dry goods for The Columbia Pacific Food Bank!

Hello Sauvie Island School families! Thank you for all of your support of our See's Candies fundraiser. Our fundraiser ends this week. Please have your order forms and collection envelopes turned into the front desk by 3pm on Friday, November 22nd. Order forms turned in after this time will not be processed. Hello Families, The school's annual Harvest Fest is taking place tomorrow 11/7. It is open to the community from 3:15-5:00 pm. Our food drive is still happening. Please help us reach our three-barrel goal. Donation barrels will be available during the event.

Hello Families, There will be no district buses tomorrow, Thursday, 11/7. All students who utilize the AM district buses must be at the SMS bus hub by 7:45 a.m. This will not affect the island bus.
