Thanks to the work of Sauvie Island Center and Connecting Canopies volunteers, our upper garden beds have been revitalized for use with our gardening program. SIC educator Cutaumoc led our 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th grade students in a ceremony to celebrate the unique Sauvie Island geography and history as we reopen these beds.

Join this community yoga class, Monday at 8:30 am at the Grange. It is a one-hour class.
Anyone is welcome, we work at beginning levels providing stretching, balancing, and strength work. Please bring your mat and props if you have them: blocks, blanket, and strap.

Hello Families,
The school year is here. Grades 1-8 start on Tuesday, September 2nd, and our kindergarten starts on Thursday, September 5th.
Halls open at 8:20 am and school starts promptly at 8:25 am. Dismissal is at 3 pm ( Wednesday is early release, 2 pm dismissal)
Thank you to parent volunteers Desiree Cearly, Abby Paustisn and Josie Sturgis for an amazing makeover of our staff room.
We are excited to see everyone tonight at 5:30 for our Welcome Back BBQ.
