What: Sauvie Island School's Annual Jog-a-Thon

Why:  This is our technology fundraiser. It helps support our technology program and one-to-one iPads.  Charter schools are funded at only 80% of other district schools.  The current funding gap is $577,200.00

How: Students will collect pledges on their pledge sheet leading up to the Jog-A-Thon. Once they have completed their laps, they will collect the pledges. When they have collected all their pledges, they will turn them in to the school by October 14th, 2026

Where: Sauvie Island School Track

When: 9 AM-11 AM. Each grade will have about 15-20 minutes to run their laps, and there will be 10-15 minutes for a transition between grades.

9:15AM: Grades 2nd, 4th, 7th

9:50 AM: Grades K, 5th, 8th

10:25AM: Grades 1st, 3rd, 6th

Additional Information: For families with children in multiple grades AND there is a gap between their start times, we are asking that you go check out one of the local farms or take a quick trip to the beach to make room for the attendees of the children who are currently running.

As always, thank you for making Sauvie Island a truly special place for our children.
