Dear Sauvie Island School Community,
We are excited to be preparing for the 2026 Sauvie Island School Live Auction, taking place on Saturday, May 16th at 5pm, at Columbia Farms. This beloved annual event brings together families, friends, and community partners for a fun and memorable evening while raising critical funds that support our students, teachers, and school programs.
As many of you know, Sauvie Island School is a unique K–8 public charter school built on a strong sense of community and a place-based learning model that connects students to the world around them. Because charter schools in Oregon receive only about 80% of the funding traditional public schools receive, community support plays a vital role in helping bridge that gap.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our families, local businesses, and supporters, past fundraising efforts have helped make meaningful improvements across the school. These include updated bathrooms, new flooring and carpeting, fresh interior paint, expanded field trips, and continued support for enrichment programs such as art, music, STEAM, and the library.
These programs and improvements help ensure that SIS students have access to learning experiences that go beyond the basics, creating opportunities for creativity, exploration, and connection to our community.
This year, we are once again asking for your help to make the auction a success.
