The Sauvie Island School Board is inviting Letters of Interest from individuals who would like to be considered for service on the Board. This invitation is open-ended—there’s no deadline to apply. After submitting a letter, a board member will reach out to you to schedule an information session.
Our Board is made up of five to seven dedicated individuals who share a commitment to fulfilling the vision of our Place-based school and our mission of “Preparing our students to define and achieve success.”
We value a wide range of perspectives and experiences and strive for diversity in background, work and life experience, and place of residence. As a Board, we listen respectfully, ask thoughtful questions, and work together to find positive, productive solutions.
Serving on the SIS Board is a meaningful way to support our Place-based learning environment and contribute to the success of our students and community. To learn more about what it means to be a Board member, visit sauvieislandschool.org/school-board.
If you are interested, please complete the online Letter of Interest form or send a Letter of Interest sharing your background, areas of expertise, and reasons for wanting to serve to info@sauvieislandschool.org.
