Pop-Up Vegetable Start Sale Next Week!
To help raise funds to help sustain our school garden program, we'll be selling student-grown vegetable starts all next week after school. We have a large variety of tomatoes, cucumbers, and basil in 4" containers, as well as some miscellaneous greens (kale, spinach, arugula) in "save this plant" condition in 6-pak veggie trays. The 4" starts are $3 each or 2 for $5, with our "distressed" offerings up for grabs. We'll also offer sliding scale donations as we'd like all members of our community who are interested to be able to access the sale.
**If you aren't able to come by the school, but are interested in purchasing some starts, please email Mr. Radich at mradich@sauvieislandschool.org to have a purchase sent home with your student.
The sale is cash only, we'll be located by the greenhouse outside the K-2 classrooms every day after school next week (May 15-19). Hope to see you there!
