Sauvie Island School works to accommodate the unique transportation needs of each of our students. If you need to make any changes to your child's transportation arrangements home, please notify the front office by 1pm on that day by calling the front desk at 503-621-3426 or emailing Ann Pavia at apavia@sauvieislandschool.org.

Because of the school's location on Sauvie Island, we may need to make decisions separately from the school district in case of inclement weather. Please be on the lookout for information regarding inclement weather and transportation changes to be distributed directly from the school via email and phone. SIS staff works to communicate this information as quickly as possible in the event of inclement weather.

IMPORTANT: if your student uses district buses to transfer to the SIS bus at Scappoose Middle School, the communication from Scappoose School District may advise that certain buses are on snow routes for the day. You can find the list of modified snow route stops here.

If you need to contact your child's bus provider regarding anything pertaining to their time on the bus, such as misplaced items, illness, behavior concerns, or other issues, please contact the following:
