Welcome to Sauvie Island Academy’s Parent Teacher Club!  
We are a group of parents, educators, and community members who are excited to support our children’s education.  It is our mission to provide opportunities and experiences for our students that will encourage them to grow into adults who have a love of learning, a desire to protect the land and its resources, and a willingness to be a part of their community.
The PTC supports our school by providing the funding for enrichment activities, from art and music instruction, to field trips and assemblies.  We work together each year to host our annual auction, which our community has generously supported, and use those funds to give our students opportunities that they wouldn’t otherwise have.
We all have something to offer in the way of support, including volunteering in a classroom or chaperoning field trips, bringing your ideas to the PTC meetings, sharing a talent, and donating to our annual auction.  Your help is valuable to us!
We invite you to attend a meeting sometime, and hear what we are up to.  The meetings are on the second Thursday of the month, 6 o’clock, at the school. Your opinion matters, and everyone always gets a vote!
